New on Fall of Camelot: The Tale of Sir Balin

I just wanted to quickly update you on FallofCamelot.com!

I’ve begun to share the tragic story of Sir Balin, a troubled knight who was questing from Arthur’s court in Camelot before the Round Table even existed.  I’ve created a few pieces of art and some writing for the tale, with more on the way.

Here’s a summary of the story and art so far:

Sir Balin, the Knight with the Two Swords

Sir Balin found himself as the origin of the Fisher King and the Grail Quest, first unsheathing a cursed sword that would set him on his tragic path, maiming the Fisher King and turning the land of Listenoise into a wasteland.

He frequently adventured with his brother Sir Balan, who soothed Balin’s fierce temper and provided a more rational head.  Together they were a formidable pair, renowned at their time.

However, that cursed blade would betray them both, and Balin would come to unknowingly slay his own brother, before realising the truth of his slaughter and succumbing to his own wounds.

More is on its way concerning these two knights, and the stories around them, before I continue to explore more tales of the Arthurian legends.

I hope you enjoy, and speak again soon!
